vb 3.6.6 is just released and fixes a lot of bugs.
I would like to upgrade, but am new to the process. Will this break my CA EVO 2 skin? If so, are there adjustments I can make to fix it? Or are you going to be releasing a new version for 3.6.6 if it's required?
I'm using the latest CA EVO default blue color - fluid version.
Please let me know!!
thanks,
CyberAlien

Cool. I was planning on launching my new forum today. But I might as well do the 3.6.6 upgrade first, and definitely want to be using the CA EVO skin rather than the default.
Guess the users at my existing site will just have to wait a few days. ;)

I'll try to finish it today. There won't be list of changes, as there are about 50 updated templates per style.

I attached CA Evo for vBulletin 3.6.6. It will be uploaded on website later when I'll convert all other styles and this forum to 3.6.6
There are few new images, so make sure you upload images too (don't overwrite old ones - just upload new ones).
edit: removed attachment, as right now I'm uploading 3.6.6 to website.
changes from file that was attached: one line in "extra" css template was changed

A couple of problems, one solved, on not.
1. What I thought was the latest CA_EVO version 2.0 that I downloaded and installed put all images in a "ca_evo" folder. But this one you just posted put them in a "ca_evo2" folder. I think I may have been using a version 1.x before. No biggie. I just uploaded all images into it's ca_evo2 folder and it all worked.
2. I can't seem to find the PSD file for the logo. It appears that the one I had, was version 1.x as it seems a different size (taller). Can you please attach the logo psd file? The one I modified is too big and now no longer works. (Alternatively, if it's easy to change something to allow room for the older logo size in the header, I wouldn't mind doing that - but would need instructions).
Thanks so much!! I'm trying to go live with my site conversion tonight!
Edit: Having a 3rd problem:
3. For some reason I'm getting missing images on vBadvanced portal page. I did upload and merge in the vba xml file. I also ran the vba install to update image links. If I right-click on the images, they seem to point to the right file and I've verified the file is there on my server. Weird. Any clues? See attached image.

UPDATE:
- #1 is not an issue anymore as I have all the ca_evo2 images and the paths seem correct now.
- #2 is still an issue. I need the logo psd file for ca evo2.
- #3 I've made progress on and found weirdness. I went ahead and edited the "additional css" in the style to include full paths to all images. Seemed to fix the majority of the background and other issues.
BUT - I still have 2 problems (see screenshot) that are problems. What's weird is that if I press "refresh" on the browser and watch closely, it's like the images are already under there, and it's trying to overlay additional images on top of it. Maybe you can see what's going on from the screenshot. Let me know if you need me to unlock the board to test it.
thanks.

It would appear that the XSS that necessitated the release of 3.6.7 extends to another system we did not appreciate at the time of the release.
Therefore, here are a further set of patches and plugins for you to apply.
Here are your options, depending on the version of vBulletin you are currently running.
Currently running vBulletin 3.6.7
Either:
* Download the patch for 3.6.7 from the members' area (or this thread - 367_patch.zip) and upload the contents to your forum directory
or
* Apply the plugin vb_367_xss_fix_plugin.xml attached to this thread
Those using vBulletin 3.6.7 can make use of the new Patch Level release system, which allows the correct version number to be displayed in the admin control panel - with the patch applied, your version number in the ACP will reflect the fact that you are now running 3.6.7 PL1.
i was talking about the update from version 3.6.7 tot 3.6.7 PL 1
i don't think there are updates or so,
i have updated already and it looks good :D
greetings
