I love the look of the Evo skin, but I think I futzed it up when I uploaded. My default skin looks fine, but when I switch to the Evo skin (fixed or fluid), it looks like this:

http://www.30hoursaday.com/members/index.php

Any ideas what I might have done to mess it up?

This is pretty much a new install of Vbulletin. Here's what I've done so far:

1) Installed Vbulletin a few weeks ago
2) Replaced the header image successfully in default template
3) Upgraded to 3.6.7 PL1
4) Uploaded & installed Evo Fixed
5) Switched to it & it looked wrong
6) Uploaded and installed Evo Fluid
7) Switched to it & it looked wrong
8) Grabbed a beer
9) Typed this

Any help would be appreciated - please let me know if I can supply any additional info.

Keep rockin -

Dave Navarro

Aha ... I just figured something out ... in Firefox it just looks messed up, but in IE I can see that it can't find the images (IE gives me big red Xs, Firefox, not so much).

I've checked my server and the \images\ca_evo2 folder is there with all the images ...

I've got the whole skin on my server in a /cpstyles/ca_evo directory, andwhen I installed the skin, the XML file was in that directory too.

Does the location of the XML files during the script upload matter?

Thanks,

Dave

/images/ca_evo2/ isn't there: http://www.30hoursaday.com/members/images/ca_evo2/
You probably made a typo in directory name when uploading.

Hmm ... why would it be looking in :

http://www.30hoursaday.com/members/images/ca_evo2/ ?

Wouldn't it be looking in the directory it was installed in and move downward?

http://www.30hoursaday.com/members/cpstyles/ca_evo/images/ca_evo2/

I'm a little confused, maybe I'm expecting the wrong thing, it's just when I ran the install, the XML was in the

http://www.30hoursaday.com/members/cpstyles/ca_evo/

directory.

Anyway, I copied the images/ca_evo2/ directory right in the main /members/images folder and I can see everything.

Thanks for your help - you ROCK

No, doesn't matter where you run xml from, images must be in images/ca_evo2/.

You can just upload xml files via browser, like most people do. Location of xml file makes absolutely no difference.
