Changing image format for logo_mid

Hey.
Using AcidTechPurpleEx on 2.0.22 and can't seem to find the code in any of the files to make it possible to have a PNG format image as the logo.

Any help would be great.

Upload image to acidtech/imageset/ and then in acp -> styles -> imagesets edit acidtech imageset and replace logo image.

I think you're referring to phpBB3. I'm running phpBB 2.0.22. I should of made that more clearer. So I don't have these options within the ACP.
Also while I'm here, could you tell me how to change it from resizing my logo?
It seems to squeeze it up to fit the header space.

I'm currently managing 3 forums and learning as I go. Which becomes increasingly hard as 2 are phpBB3 RC1 and the other is phpBB2. I keep getting mixed up with what goes where and what this does...
My mind feels like its melting....
