OK, so GreenTech and AcidTech are yours, correct? Which other ones? I will remove them.


Edit:

How do I go about asking style authors if they mind? What if their links no longer work or I can't get ahold of them?

I'm kinda new to this so I don't want to step on any toes.

No, but I was helping him design styles (it was custom paid work), then few month later bought his websites, so I do own those styles.

I kind of afraid to ask, but what about including XS mod and Guest Sessions?

I include contrib directory with all original mods and their sources inside.

I apologize if I crossed a line or anything, but I am still learning the ins and outs of open source software. I have removed all Aphrodite, AcidTech, Getaway, and GreenTech templates from the styles demo (though I hadn't yet offered a download link). But, I already put together a few premods a couple weeks ago (before I talked to you), and they have your XS mod in them. I didn't realize when I put this stuff together that I was supposed to ask each and every mod author's permission to do this.

Also, recently phpBB-SEO gave me permission to include some of their SEO mods, and they all require your guest sessions mod. I haven't put together the SEO package, though, because I'm waiting to make sure that it's OK with you first. If you'd prefer I didn't use your mods, though, I understand and I will remove them (XS is pretty easy to uninstall, and I think there are other methods out there for guest sid removal).

If you'd like to see my site and what I'm up to, I can leave a link here or PM you, whichever you'd prefer.

Whether you give me permission to use XS and guest sessions mod or not, I still would appreciate any feedback you or anyone else can offer. I'm just trying to figure out the best way to go about this. I don't want to offend any of the phpBB mod authors.

ok, you can put mods in it, but not styles. I haven't seen a single premod that properly converted styles and had to deal with customers who were complaining about bugs that weren't mine, but were bugs made by premod authors, so I don't want any styles to be ported to any premod.

Hey CA,

I created a GetawayBrown, a GetawayGreen, and a GetawayCherry by cloning getaway with xs mod and redoing all the images. Interested? I'd like to release it on phpBBHacks (http://www.phpbbhacks.com/searchresults.php?author=Julian%20Wolfe), or give it to you to release it, whichever.

Right now it's on raptism.com/forum but you have to log in to be able to change styles.

Sorry, not interested at all. It would have been interesting a year ago, but I've created colorizeit service that lets user change color schemes themselves, so no point in releasing lots of color schemes.
