How do i put a link to my home page in AcidTech?

my members have asked for a link back to my home page to be put in the forums ~ a reasonable request. but after I stuffed up my forum several times & had a couple of mild heart attacks I have come to the conculsion that its not so simple! I am also looking to put some google adsense into my forum but if i cant even put in a simple link i guess ill have to forget that one! LOL!!

can someone help me please :D

Edit overall_header.tpl if its phpBB 2, or overall_header.html if its phpBB 3.

I;ve been doing that but each time I get upload it I end up with only the header & no forum ~ this is what i get... http://www.dirttrackcowboys.com.au/forum/index.php
I'll leave it up for a few minutes so you can see it

Probably you are using wrong editor. Don't edit tpl files in WYSIWYG editors such as Frontpage/Expression or Dreamweaver because they "correct" code by messing it up. Edit it in some simple text editor.

thanks so much ~ I just figured that out like 5 seconds ago & not sure why I didnt think of that about 7 hours ago LOL (prob too much coffee!!) ~ but thanks heaps for your help
